Just Shoot Me Already
This comedic short was written, directed, and produced by students from the Professional Actor’s Studio in Atlanta, GA.
Better Living through Chemistry, Days 3 and 4
The Memorial Day weekend was packed full of three long days of shooting. We wrapped around 11pm Monday night.
Better Living through Chemistry, Day 2
Day 2 of principal photography for “Better Living trough Chemistry” is done. Our first location was at Green Screen Atlanta, where we shot a restaurant scene. You’ll notice the kiddie pool in some of the photos below – let’s just say it made the clean up a lot easier.
Second location was a nice suburban home where we staged the climax of the film.
Better Living through Chemistry – First Day of Filming
On Sunday, May 23, principal photography started for “Better Living through Chemistry”, a short film being produced by Bear Driving Car.
We had two shooting locations for the day. The first was at a “seedy” hotel. Let me tell you, the location scouts did their homework. This was actually the most complicated shoot of the film, but the crew was fantastic and we went through something like 25 setups over the course of the afternoon and early evening.
Next we moved on to the “Food Mart”. Seriously, that’s the name of the store. Josh, the manager, was great — he even got pulled into the film as an extra for one of the shots.
After a long day, we finally wrapped around 12:30am.
At least my name is famous.
So apparently the lead character in the latest Rockstar game is named after me. No, I didn’t actually do the VO for this. The voice of “John Marston” was performed by Rob Wiethoff.
Day Labor
Burned out by the grind of boring, anonymous jobs, Corey and Dale really need a day off. But with no vacation time left, and a mandatory sales meeting to attend, they need to find a temporary solution.
Juan and Esteban have worked plenty of dirty jobs before, but nothing has prepared them for a day in the office. Can they survive the cubicles and conference rooms of corporate America?

The Moment of Truth
A short monologue from “Crazyology” by Frank Higgins.
The Last Crouching Dragon Reloaded
A short scene Matt Cornwell (www.mavinproductions.com) and I wrote for the Summer Showcase put on by The Professional Actors Studio, in Atlanta. Matt’s a true black-belt in Shim Shin-Do karate. My kung fu can’t compare to his skills, but we had a lot of fun putting this goofy scene together.
